About Us Our mission is simple, but very worthwhile— we “help bring a smile to a child's face.” We provide plush, brown, 10-inch teddy bears to the children and organizations we serve. Each bear arrives wearing our official “Someone Loves You” t-shirt. Our special teddy bears are given to provide love, friendship, and to help cheer up children in their time of need. Our teddy bears are purchased new and donated with no financial restitution expected. This nation-wide program provides teddy bears to hospitals, burn camps, firehouses, shelters, social workers, child advocates, public safety agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. All teddy bears donated by "Teddy Bears That Care Program" are purchased by our program and donated with no financial restitution expected in return. The Teddy Bears That Cares Program is funded solely through donations,sponsorship and fundraising events. Over 26,000 teddy bears of our Someone Loves You teddy bears have been distributed throughout 26 states and Canada since 2001. Teddy Bear Board of Directors
Stephen Doyle, President Volunteers Teddy Bears That Care Program, Inc. was founded and organized by Stephen Doyle and the New York City Firefighters Hockey Team in February 2001. Teddy Bears That Care was incorporated June 2001 in New York State. Teddy Bears That Care Program, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit public charity and registered with the IRS, Tax ID # 13-4178972 .
